as an Oiran (or better known as a geisha) of P.wandae,known as ‘Queen staghorn’,
took inspiration from vandaka plants.

Masumi Ishikawa became an apprentice of Master Utagawa Toyokuni VI and then struck out on his own. Since collaborations with Star Wars and KISS in 2015 ,
he has been working with iconic brands/figures
including Katsushika Hokusai, David Bowie and New Era. He made an image of platycerium spirit as an Oiran of P.wandae,known as ‘Queen staghorn’,
took inspiration from vandaka plants.
Ishikawa and vandaka plants are both cat lovers.
